Snowy, snowy wonderland...did leave campers 'wondering' for sure... Snow on Super Bowl weekend was not expected at all, but campers are adventureous at heart and made it through the very cold weekend.
Special thanks to workampers Nancy and Junior Hall for getting out in the snow and taking these great pictures.
The Camp Store and the Front Gate were open to those that needed extra help or a cup of hot coffee. And by Sunday, the sunshine returned, and many football fans appeared on the campground in team colors to hollar and yell for their favorite teams. We don't know which was greater - the can-do spirit of campers, or the football fever of fans...both helped us
get through this rare snowy weekend in Texas!
